Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist RCST
I believe our bodies have an innate intelligence and a natural capacity to move towards balance, healing and wellbeing. My work is rooted in creating the space for this process to unfold, with curiosity, compassion and deep respect for each person’s individual experience.
During my Anthropology MA I explored how theatre and dance can support health, wellbeing and healing. I later trained & worked as a community midwife for over a decade, supporting women and families through the profound transitions of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.
My experience as a midwife deepened my understanding of the body’s wisdom and the importance of feeling truly listened to and supported. It was through working with pregnant and postnatal clients that I discovered Craniosacral Therapy. I was drawn to its gentle, whole-person approach and its trust in the body’s innate capacity to regulate, restore and heal.
I qualified as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist with the Resonance School in 2022. I continue to develop my practice through further postgraduate study (see below) in fascial unwinding, deepening my understanding of the body’s connective tissues and their relationship to our wider sense of wellbeing.
My approach is gentle and non-directive. Rather than trying to fix or change the body, I offer a calm, supportive space in which you can slow down, listen inwards and reconnect with your own bodily intelligence. I believe wellbeing is not simply the absence of illness, but an ongoing relationship with ourselves, our bodies, emotions, nervous systems and the world around us.
Sound & Deep Rest
Alongside my craniosacral practice, I regularly offer sound healing sessions at Penny Brohn Cancer Care. Working with instruments including gongs, crystal bowls, handpan, drums and chimes, I create an immersive space for deep rest, relaxation and reconnection.
I am drawn to the way sound can be experienced through the whole body, offering an opportunity to pause, settle and simply be. For me, both sound healing and craniosacral work share a common thread: creating the conditions in which the body can soften, listen and reconnect with its own innate intelligence.
